Canva

So you probably know what Canva is, and I won't lie it has become my best friend when it comes to getting content out there, the speed, accessibility and creativity of the platform are fantastic.

 

So a big shout out to the creators, I love you nearly as much as Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream (and that is saying something!😘🍦).

However, with so much design freedom and the ability to unleash your inner creative, it also meant that those who didn't exactly have an eye for design & branding in the company needed to be kept on the right path.

By creating this process in the company it has cut the workload for the marketing team majorly as previously all designs were individually created by us via Canva, Photoshop or InDesign so every slight change had to be done by us, whereas now consultants can change small details themselves and create their own content while staying ON BRAND!🙌

By listing out the different types of branding documents/content the consultant's needed for their day to day work whether that be building their personal brand on LinkedIn, sending professional PDFs to clients or introducing candidates to the business via infographics, I started creating multiple designs to cover each template.

Once I was happy with designs, I could then duplicate them into team folders so each was slightly different, changing wording or imagery depending on the team. I then set up individuals folders within the teams.

With everything set in place, 100's of templates ready to go, I asked leaders to create a team login and then invited them all to our Canva team where they could find their folders, and the template needed to add in whatever information they wanted...AFTER watching a tutorial video which I created via LinkedIn Learning📚
