I’m Derrin 👋🏻

So, let me get to it…

I am currently working for Darwin Recruitment. I have worked here for 3 years and have worked my way up from the Digital Marketing apprentice to Marketing Coordinator. 

​

But to really know who I am, let me tell you how I wound up in marketing. 

​

I have always had a strong creative nature, for as long as I can remember🎨.

But I never thought I would be able to take that passion into a career. I may or may not have believed that drawing was the only way to get into a creative role. And you guessed it, I am no Van Gogh. THANKFULLY that is not the case!

Fast forward 3 years and I am a marketing fanatic eager to learn more and face bigger challenges.

​

Although I have learnt a lot in the 3 years I have been on this career journey, I am continuing to learn more about the big wide world of marketing by taking on courses in my free time and checking out podcasts & newsletters.

 

I am also looking for a new place of work to really push my creativity to its limits…
